The Kuhl Burr Jacket

I had the chance to try out the Burr Jacket made by Kuhl recently (sent by Kuhl for a field test). The model I tried is the Burr Lined, in Raven Color. I have been wearing the jacket around Boise Idaho during the month of December, where we have been having a fairly mild winter. The jacket is made of 100% combed cotton canvas, and is described accurately as having “timeless design and long lasting construction.” It reminds me of a classic waxed cotton jacket found at a much higher price point. It has a nice rugged appearance, and makes this old guy look about as good as he can look.

The Burr Jacket is lined with fleece, seems very windproof, and has an inside zippered pocket, and three zippered outside pockets. All zippers are brass, which hearkens back to the day when clothes were made to last.

As modeled by the wino below, it has a classier look than that old dude deserves. Perfect for shoulder season activities, such as a walk for coffee or a stroll on the green belt, or anything around town. I see a price on the Kuhl website as $129, well worth it for a classy jacket for any task in spring or fall, or in milder winter weather. https://www.kuhl.com/kuhl/mens/outerwear/burr-jacket/
